Question by singingsusie25901: What I want to know about sex, love, ?

Just wondering if your spouse couldn't have sex with you for some reason ( health or other ) how would you feel if after a year with no sex , wouldn't you think if there was some emotional connection at all they would attempt to satisfy you in another way ?Is this a selfish thought ? When a person has everything they could ask for is sex really that important ? Or is the emotion and intimate part the part that is missing ?
let me add , married for over 20 years , his weight has a lot to do with it , I personally would enjoy holding hands , kissing , hugging , ANYTHING! I want to know if I am selfish , what can I do ? He said find a one night stand ??? I know hes joking , I cant do that , I am not totally dead yet , Im not ugly , im not fat , I have a good personality, Im hurting .I just thought after I have tried everything , someone would tell me what I can do ...Im lonesome , sad, I need a hug!!! hahah

I think there are other ways that that desire could be satisfied and if the partner who can't have sex really loves his/her partner he/she will do what ever they can to keep their partner satisfied and happy.
